Just wanted to let my Ford friends know about the great 1:18 scale die cast of Hubert Platt's Little Georgia Shaker T-Bolt. A great looking car, one of the biggest "characters" in drag racing and a welcome addition to one's collection of car stuff. And I'd also like to extend my warmest congratulations to friends Phil Featherston and Jody Aberts for their recent outstanding performances at the track.

Ford stays in business because they think GLOBAL instead of catering to a domestic market only. All one needs to do is look at what's produced in Europe or South America and you can get a good idea of the next subcompact ford will roll off the line. I work for the US government and now that we along the American people now have two car companies, I got a feeling the motorpoll is going to the GM and Dodges for a while. Not to mention the Humvees they are going to have to supply the military. In the ned it will save money as the vehicles will be part of the repayment and not sold on contract.

And not to mention the ONLY American car company left thanks to our new socialist form of government. Don't think I'll be ordering a new Volt from Obama motors any time soon.

Charlie, Who do you want me to threaten? Jon knows what I can do! Right Jon? How many people know that Henry Ford and Harvey Firestone started AAA, the American Automobile Association with Thomas Edison as a stock holder and partner?

Thanks Jon, I keep telling my publisher that we need to get these stories on paper before we all forget them.

I wish to promote civil disorder, right here - right NOW! Charlie Morris told me this morning that the editor for his books culled-out most of the real-world stories Charlie wanted to tell from those who lived the Bubble-top thru A/FX era. He still has 'em! I would encourage you to email Charlie asking him to self-publish - if necessary - those marvelous tales from the past that are - really - more true than you might believe.

Mount the bastions! Scale the walls! Charge the hill! Wrest those tales from the entrails of Charlie Morris' archives! THUNDERBOLTS FOREVER!

OK ... I just took a pill ... I'll better soon .....

It was fantastic taking a walk back through time with none other than "The voice of drag racing" this morning. Keeping the memories alive.
