There isn't much that hasn't already been said about Don Garlits. I'm fortunate to have seen him run match races and national events and I'm proud to consider him a friend. I keep in touch with Don and his long-time sidekick, T.C. Lemons regularly, but still wish I could spend time with them more often. Big Daddy's still number one and always will be. Thanks for the memories

I am very glad to have the "old man", as TC Lemons calls him, for a friend. I have the best doggone time when I'm on the road with Don and his lovely wife, Pat. When God made Don, he broke the mold...there will never be another. I look forward to more years with him on the tours and to racing the new Hemi Challenger.

MISSED YOU AT THE PRI SHOW<, BUT STILL HAVE ALOT GOOD OLD MEMORIES AT AQUASCO CAPITOL & CECIL< HOPE TO SEE YOU AT THE LITTLE GUYS NATIONALS> REMEMBER THE TIRE TESTING DAYS AT CAPITOL & HOW ABOUT THE TIME YOU WERE RACING THE RAMCHARGERS AT CAPITOL ONE SAT NIGHT & YOU DESTROYED A PISTON ON YOUR FIRST RUN AFTER BEATING THEM & TORE THE ENGINE APART IN FRONT OF THE TOWER & SLAPED THE NEW PISTON IN SET THE DISTRIBUTER TURNED IT ONE TIME AND SAID THAT WILL DO IT & BEAT THEM AGAIN> WHAT A RACE THAT WAS> I HAVE A LOT OF STORIES SIMMULAR TO TELL JULIO MR>DON OF DRAG RACING
